Workday provides very flexible Future Scheduling options for the Workday objects like Integrations, Reports, Alerts etc., With this, we can schedule batch jobs in Workday individually or along with dependencies with other Workday objects. They run in tandem and triggers email alerts or notifications based on certain status.

What happens if the Workday jobs need to run in tandem with other external on-premise applications? How can we get mobile alerts in case of any failures?

Our answer to these is our Job Automator. Job Automator can schedule Workday jobs to run on Corporate Job Scheduler that any customer has on-premise. The solution uses same Service Management Tools for alerting or monitoring. If the existing Service Management application can trigger mobile alerts for any failures based on severity, our solution follows the same route for Workday alerts notifications.

Every Organization has a IT Change Management process to deploy any changes to Production environment. Workday provides a transport mechanism called Object Transporter (OX) to migrate objects from one tenant to another along with their dependent objects. This poses challenges when a customer uses Single Sign On for Production tenant and use different login ID when non-Prod tenants. Password Protect helps to ease this situation by providing an approval Workflow to manage the Integration user ID and Password for Production moves. This works simply by check in and check out functionality

PayComp Migrator

Workday’s Object Transporter (OX) can be used to migrate most of the objects from one tenant to another. In case there are any missing objects that cannot be moved, iLoads help to migrate them. But iLoads can only be used by implementation partners who will not be available during support mode for most of the customers. In such scenarios, PayComp Migrator helps to migrate Pay Components from one tenant to another. This helps avoid the manual configuration in multiple tenants based on the project testing scope. This particularly helps in Payroll Integrations
